Christmas in Grapevine, Texas

Don’t Miss These Activities

* Beautiful lights line Historic Grapevine Main Street where local artisans, concessions, and boutique shopping abound. Don’t forget local eateries like Napoli’s (Italian), Esparza’s (TexMex), Dino’s (chops and seafood), and Chez Fabien (French) to round out your evening. As a bonus, you can often find live entertainment and plenty of photo ops.

* North Pole Express: Approximately 45 minutes of Merry aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Riders are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas pajamas! This experience is great for families, particularly with small children. Silver bells, cookies, and photos with Santa… what more could you ask for?

Where to Stay

* There are plenty of options in the Grapevine area, but these two resorts in particular are sure to provide an experience, not just a stay.

* Gaylord Texan: Acres of holiday extravaganza! This resort boasts a full schedule every day of both indoor and outdoor activities and shows, plus award-winning restaurants and a world-class spa. With such an extensive menu of opportunities, you can create the experience you desire.

* Great Wolf Lodge: From indoor snow showers to the only indoor water park in North Texas, this place is truly special! This resort feels smaller and definitely more targeted for families with younger children. Overall, it’s likely to be more cost effective than the Gaylord, but it’s also offering a different experience.
