2022 Florida RV Supershow
Let’s Talk Numbers…
*Annual show in its 37th year
* 6 days (5 open to the public; 1 reserved for media/industry)
* 84,600 attendees
*2 million square feet of exhibit space and over 450 booth exhibitors
This thing is HUGE!
Naturally, the first question is, should I go? And hands down, the answer is YES! In order to get the most out of this behemoth show, it would be helpful to know why you want to go. We started with a plan and a handful of goals, and it still was overwhelming. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a ton of rigs in one place, or maybe to get to see a rig that you are personally interested in. Also, this could be an awesome learning opportunity. You can compare RV types, speak with product specialists, and even attend seminars.
Besides the RVs, what is there to see and do?
Exhibitors debut new and innovative products
Campgrounds and resorts come from across the US
Parts/accessories with company representatives
General RV Life info (full time, part time, some time)
Seminars
Meet & greets
Entertainment
Tips:
1. Know your reason for coming, and plan accordingly. Otherwise, you could end up finding the experience totally overwhelming, or worse, making a costly mistake.
2. If you get overwhelmed (physically or mentally), just go sit down in the shade. Don’t be afraid to put yourself first. Many people will go sit in the rigs with the AC on, but these will get busy and loud. It’s quieter in the shade.
3. Wear your best walking shoes and drink plenty of water.
4. Come early, stay late. The busiest time is midday.
5. Don’t come hungry. There is food, but the lines can get pretty long, and a lot of the food is “fair style” (fried, greasy, sugary).
* Except the falafels, which are Lauren’s favorite :)
6. Before you make a big decision, sleep on it. Don’t let anyone make you feel rushed or pressured.
7. Remember, this is supposed to be FUN!
